EXPERIENCE OF A PASKIBRAKA MEMBER IN EAST JAKARTA 2017

Ahead of the ceremony on August 17, one remembers the past, which is still in high school. Memories based on events that are very beautiful and touch the spirit of the nation and the state that inspired me to write the fruit of that experience.

I still remember that through the selection made by the school, at that time I was chosen to be one of the students who was entrusted to become the Red Flag Sake (Paskibraka) Armed Forces of the Red and White Saka, or there was also a mention of Paskibra, the flag raising troops.

Beginning was chosen, happy / proud but what I have to do after entering into a member at that time is a challenge myself to be able to do optimally. Mental preparation must be had for each student, besides physical preparation must also be fulfilled so that everything goes to meet expectations.

After days, weeks to months, the training is done routinely, finally becoming accustomed and able. That's all thanks to the will, perseverance and a lot to learn from mistakes, especially building attitudes in team togetherness such as marching lines, positioning themselves in roles according to their respective formations.

It is very fortunate that we are a Paskibraka group / organization. For the general public who do not understand, it is possible that the exercises conducted by Paskibraka are considered as Scouts or the like. Even more than that, Paskibraka is a special team that was intentionally formed and tasked with flying the Saka Merah Putih flag.

Of course, also in the process of raising the flag is not random, but a process that is carried out in an organized, structured in a limited system so that sincerity respect for the Saka Merah Putih as an important part in every ceremony can take place solemnly.

Really has made an experience and is a matter of pride since I entered into a member of Paskibraka. Especially the experience and inner pride in which the soul of loving the motherland is increasingly embedded in the heart, also proud that the nation and state of Indonesia is a place for us to take shelter, our common property, which must be preserved and maintained.

Besides the priceless inner pride, there is also a pride that is marked in a change of attitude. Becoming a member of Paskibraka where the exercises take place routinely / continuously turns out to have shaped the behavior of a person to become more confident, disciplined, orderly, build cohesiveness, cooperate / work together, assertive and upright step, not become a crybaby (especially spoiled man ). That was a glimpse of the experience that I had experienced when I was a student in high school a few years ago, and it turned out that there were many benefits to be gained when I was a member of Paskibraka.
